GSP Ancestry began with my first German Shorthaired Pointer, Rose. Watching her develop in training sparked a deeper question—not just how she worked, but why. That curiosity led me into the breeding behind the dog: the bloodlines, the decisions, and the generations that shaped her ability.

The name GSP Ancestry reflects that focus. It is rooted in the genealogy of the German Shorthaired Pointer and a genuine interest in researching where traits originate, how they are passed down, and how breeding decisions influence the dogs we see today.

Accuracy is the cornerstone of everything I do. Every pedigree represented through GSP Ancestry is verified against original stud books and official registries. No assumptions, no copied internet pedigrees, and no unverified information. This level of documentation and verification is largely absent online, and GSP Ancestry exists to set a higher standard.
